Jacque was born on the south side of Chicago and has had a passion for music since she can remember. She taught herself how to play the piano when she was four and has been writing songs ever since. Her style is a fluid fusion of Nora Jones and Alicia Keys. She loves to blend classical with jazz to create her own unique sound. Her songs are about love, overcoming obstacles, and up lifting those around her. "Music has always played such an important part in my life; it is how I express myself. Whether I'm sad, happy, or somewhere in between, I can listen to a song that will express exactly how I'm feeling at that moment. And somehow, it helps. I want my music to be that for others. My mission is to create songs that are so passionate and real, people won't have a choice but to believe I specifically created that song for the sound track of their lives." Jacque acknowledges that her talent is a gift and she wants to use that talent for the glory of God. She says, "There are some parts of the soul that only music can reach. There are some emotions that only music can convey. My prayer is that God can use me as an instrument of peace, healing, and comfort to the soul."
